• Note: Written and driving tests are not administered on weekends and holidays.

  Test procedure

• 1. Written test
• ・Submit application (Fill out at Fuchu Driver's License Center)
• ・Aptitude tests
    (vision, color blindness, and hearing, plus depth perception for Class 2 License)
• ・Application desk: Third floor, room 37 (written test) / Room 38 (driving test)
• ・Test results are provided 45 minutes to an hour after test completion.
• ・After passing the written test, make a reservation for a driving test.

	Written test	13:00～13:30

• 2. Driving Test (at later date)
• Morning test assembly time: 8:30 a.m. ／ Afternoon test assembly time: 1:00 p.m.

  Test Fee

• Written test: 2,900 yen / Driving test: 1,450 yen / Issuing fee: 1,150 yen
• Note: Payment can only be made in cash.

  What to Bring

Written test

①One copy of your certificate of residence from your family register (must include legal domicile and be issued within the last 6 months) Note: Foreign residents must bring one copy of your certificate of residence (entire family register). Note: Other licenses (holders only) ② ID(Ex: Health insurance card, student ID, employee ID, passport) Note: Foreign residents can use your resident card. ③Two ID photos (3cm x 2.4cm) ④Writing materials ⑤Glasses or contacts if worn ⑥Proof of submission ≪Provided by school≫ Note: Required only if you are not a Tokyo resident.
